You can store your packages in the 4MailHub warehouse for up to 60 days.
4MailHub will secure your purchases in your personalized locker free of charge for the first 45 days.
Some customers find this helpful so they can later consolidate their USA purchases and save up to 80% with our consolidation feature. That's right --- up to 80%!
After 60 days 4MailHub reserves the right to sell, destroy or otherwise dispose of your packages without incurring any liability to you or any other party whatsoever

International carriers take the dimensions of your package to determine its dimensional weight. What exactly is dimensional weight, though? Dimensional weight determines how large your package is, rather than only taking into account the true weight. Dimensional weight is calculated by multiplying the length by width by height of each package in inches or centimeters and dividing by a dimensional weight factor. The dimensional weight factor varies by service offering and unit of measure (in or cm).
4MailHub’s partner carriers DHL, FedEx and DHL Global Mail all use a dimensional weight factor of 166. The United States Postal Service (USPS) does not use dimensional weight to calculate the final price of shipping.
When dimensional weight exceeds actual weight, shipments are charged according to the dimensional weight.

The most common reason for deactivation happens when the 4MailHub security team determines that a payment or purchase has been made fraudulently.

There are increasing rules and regulations around shipping lithium batteries. International carriers limit or prohibit shipping of the following items:
  • Lithium batteries contained within the device
  • Lithium Batteries packaged with the device
  • Lithium batteries sent on their own (loose batteries)

The different restrictions and limitations are based on the following:
  • The type of battery
  • How the battery is packaged
  • The power of the battery (watt hours ratings)
  • The number of batteries shipped together

Loose batteries are the most restricted type to ship. A battery is considered loose when it is shipped without the device it is intended to power. Examples include but are not limited to the following:
  • Spare Laptop batteries
  • Spare Phone batteries
  • Spare Camera batteries
  • Power banks (portable chargers)

Loose batteries cannot be shipped by air unless they have a proven state of charge less than 30%. Most power banks are received with a charge of 30% or more. Since the state of charge for loose spare batteries cannot be determined, this means 4MailHub almost never ships a battery without the device it powers.
The rules regarding lithium batteries also vary by international carrier.
Some carriers refuse to ship any items that contain lithium ion batteries. Others put strict limitations on what types of batteries they ship. Finally, some international carriers ship lithium batteries, but not to all countries that 4MailHub services.
Avoid the problems that come with shipping lithium batteries.

The consolidation process takes 2-3 business days to complete. The warehouse team works as fast as possible to consolidate your packages. However, please allow up to 3 business days for your consolidation to be finalized.

Once you pay for shipping, your package will be sent within 24 business hours of payment being received. The exceptions to the rule are as follows:
  • Shipments that have been charged a hazmat fee can take longer to process than the normal 24 hours.
  • Security has the right to hold any payment that they question for any reason. In these cases, they will ask for more information from the shipper and payor. Most of these cases take more than 24 hours to resolve.
  • The package contains a problem item or items that cannot be shipped. If your package contains a problem item, you will be notified by email within 24 hours.

Information requests or photos are completed within 24 business hours after you make your request. The warehouse works as fast as possible to meet your requests. However, please allow up to the full 24 hours to receive your information or photo requests.

Unfortunately we have found that there are certain retailers that refuse to ship to any package forwarding companies. Therefore, we do not recommend purchasing products from them and shipping to your locker. Below are retailers that do not ship to package forwarders as well as suggested alternatives that do.

Great news, Amazon is now local and has a warehouse in our city!!! Amazon is using their own Amazon drivers to deliver a portion of their packages. You can tell by the tracking number they send you for your packages. The Amazon tracking numbers start with TBA followed by a series of numbers.
The good news is some packages will arrive super-fast, but the bad news is that we at 4MailHub are not able to track these. The only way to track the packages is through your Amazon orders page. See this link for directions

Amazon also ships orders in multiple packages, so please confirm everything has arrived into your 4MailHub locker before you ship the items to the final destination.
